RO Question

Thanks guys for your input, very helpful! Ok..the situation is..I'm new to all this hence the mistake on purchasing a **** RO, should have joined this forum before purchasing a unit, I do have a storage tank in my shed, I'm on a somewhat tight budget, my main aim is to produce pure water at a greater rate than I'm getting at the moment, which is 5 litres in 20 minutes X 5 litres of waste water every 10 minutes.

So if I upgrade my two membranes to 2 of Dougs 150gpd, will this simple mod increase production?

I have a Gpd450 RO my water going in is tds300ish coming out is now 010 used to be 009 but my membranes are now just over a year old so Just starting to show a little wear, my psi is 65+ and takes around 24 to 28 hours to fill 1000 litres.
