HI spruce, Im looking to upgrade to a 4040 system really soon, ive attached a photo of my current system a 450gpd set up. if i was to purchase the Daqua system, how easy do you think it would be to install into my van and how much of the old system do you think ill be able to utilize?Look at what Doug at www.daqua.co.uk has. He has one for £533.99.

I see that Daqua is now selling the long service life carbon block which has a very high service life for a 10" filter. I haven't seen it before on there - Interesting.
Vyair have been also doing something similar slightly cheaper,

They have the larger prefilter housings but are only including standard (not so good) carbon block filters. Vyair do sell a different brand of 4040 housing which is cheaper than the more common Champ housing, so this is why they are cheaper - cheaper housing and inferior prefilters.
Guys have had good service from both these companies. but I would go with Dougs, albeit a little more expensive. But that's my opinion and according to my experience. I have never bought anything from Vyair but I have from Daqua.
Thanks spruce, I was hoping I could purchase something like the Dauqa 4040 unit and just bolt it onto the the existing tank then use the inlet hoses that currently goes from the solenoid cutoff valve into the pre filters also upgrade to a larger DI vessel. What do you think about that, would that be achievable? You won't be able to use the prefilters as they have 1/4" pipe fittings and won't allow enough water through to allow a 4040 to work properly.
You can still utilise to solenoid cutoff.
Best thing is to look at a PureFreedom system with r/o and go from there. 2 x 20 prefilters with 1/2" hose fittings, a 4040 champ housing across the top or vertically held on with housing clamps, a gatevalve which is to throttle back the waste and to use as a flush valve. You will also need a Di vessel. PureFreedom supply their unit with a 6.5 Litre (6" x 18") unit which is fine. Its what we have got.

You don't need the booster pump. At 50 psi our 4040 produces 2 litres of pure a minute with a 50/50 waste to pure ratio using an hf5 membrane.
The other solution is to invest in a second hand ibc tank and set it up in a shed or your garage. It then becomes a static system and you can use it to process water all through the day whilst you are out working using your current r/o. Pump it to your van's tank with a submersible pump and a length of hose.
A 450 GPD did 2 of us (2 vans) for about 5 years before we upgraded to a 4040 when we added a part time cleaner to help and didn't have enough water.
Thanks @spruce  ill post a couple of pictures tomorrow showing the inlet and outlet side of things. Your help is very much appreciated what part of the world are you based? Cheers buddy.I can't see from your picture what inlet and outlet (waste) your system uses but I would presume that it would be 1/2" reduced to 1/4" with a reducer to suit the r/o inlet and outlets.
It will be easy to fit the 1/2" hose to your prefilters.
Use this to screw into the prefilter inlet.

use this to push into that male connector

Use this if you need a 90 degree bend.

Secure the hose onto the barb with either 'o' clips or jubilee clamps.
Daqua will also do those fittings. Add a couple of turns of PTFE tape or other liquid thread sealer to the male threads before assembly.
Teesside - Saltburn by the Sea to be exact. Thanks @spruce  ill post a couple of pictures tomorrow showing the inlet and outlet side of things. Your help is very much appreciated what part of the world are you based? Cheers buddy.
