Hi Andy,
This brush is a Duel Trim.
I use the Black bristles, just because I like to try something new. The inner shorter bristles originally were longer than the outer longer bristles. The reason for this is if you cut a longer bristle it will be stiffer. The aim was to make a faster Boars Hair brush.
The popular Boars Hair brush in the past 2 months is the new longer bristles Duel Trim version, not my cup of tea personally, but people work differently. This brush has a huge 30% plus extra coverage on the glass. It looks huge compared the standard, or shorter bristle versions.

Smurph it's 340 grams dry with all the bits and pieces in the pic.
Thanks Steven,@ Richard, yep scales are out. Weighing less on mine now.
If anyone needs a new brush get in contact with Richard, very helpful and polite. This fella deserves to go far in his venture!

Have you ever tried cleaning windows with a block of butter ???Thanks Steven,
I won’t be the first time the weight of a Tecbuk brush has been weighed incorrectly and then posted on a forum, it's bound to happen again.
For any one who is interested: The weight of each Tecbuk brush can be different; typically Tecbuk brushes weigh on average 245g without any other parts attached.
If you want to get a sense of this weight, a small block of butter that you pay £1-£1.50, weighs 250g, have a look in the fridge, or try picking one up in the supermarket, to get a feel of the weight.
