I have 8 houses i can do from my house

Out the front with ladders from car roof and the rears and a couple of houses from back garden with old mini triples that just reach 2nd floors

I have a small development of 9 houses that are 3 storey, I do 8 of them. I hop over the fences using my ladders and drag the hose over, climb the ladder onto the balcony next door, down the ladder, clean the ground floor and back over the fence again. Works a treat /emoticons/smile.png

One of the ones I picked up this week is on a new estate. I have the first 3 houses and a friend of one of them is moving in tomorrow, opposite. Could be 4 houses without moving the van :thumbsup:

I find you get better custies by word of mouth , from good custies , i never undercut , i picked a custie up 20 miles away by word of mouth , opened a whole new area up ........

Went 7 miles out my way to a little village for 1 job i had been recommended for

Now have a nice little days work up there

Just took on another 6 miles the other way hoping to do the same

I found in the little villages they either have a local windie who does most of the area or have no one around

worth a punt

I keep meaning to leaflet areas that I pick new work up in, I think I'll do a bit next week as I'm taking a week off. I'll leaflet very occasionally, but not door knock unless new people have moved into a house I previously cleaned.

TBH my website does all the leg work for me. I may end up with what I think will be spare time at the end of a week and a conservatory clean will come in and I'll fill the week like that, so not got time to canvass really. Like I say, I'm taking next week off, but sure as chips is chips something will come in to disrupt the week. I went to Cornwall in August and my phone didn't stop, the Mrs was getting lairy and I was constantly scratching about for a pen and paper

Tell me about it. I bought an iPad in the Summer and last night it decides to tell me I have hardly any memory left on it WTF. I only surf the net, play a bit of on-line pool and store photos on it. I don't even have any music on it, just Spotify. I deleted a load of apps and still I've only got about 1 kb or mb or whatever the frig they're called left, grr.
