Strange wfp technique

WCF

Yep that door trick is what I do too. /emoticons/biggrin.png

I always wipe the lower sills with a damp cloth, it removes all the little bits of debris and excess water. Another little trick I do is if I need to knock for payment I always wipe the door frame a they come to the door;) as I think it shows that I have a good attention to detail technique?

Does seem a bit odd that but maybe he was just taking the drips off the top frames to reduce drip marks & spotting and/or making sure the edges of the glass is clean?

It was the actual edge of the window he was wiping (he did wipe the sill too) Suppose everyone's got their own special way of doing things.

ahh now to be fair......first thing...in winter I do a lot less frame sill cleaning as I cant get the bloomin scrims dry and the custy leaves in the dark and comes home in the dark....

and now mucho more attention as they pick up the note in the light...not quite there yet but almost ..and they of course look towards the nearest window frame sill..

I do wipe em all year round and in effect...with a dry scrim ..I am cleaning em with pure...ie the few drops that end up on the frame..

its cant be as crucial as people think water on a dirty frame..

.as if...

its not actually aggravated by a brush it would not contain dirt...

if this wasnt the case many window cleaners, and I see many examples, who leave filthy top frames would have dirty windows as soon as it rained and the rain took the dirt down..

also.....one would think..that to throw a bucket of pure over a dirty car would be enough to clean it and we all know it isnt...

still after a few cleans...ALL MY FRAMES AND SILLS SHINE as its just good practise.. albeit.maybe not as much in winter:D

Was thinking this the other day is it just easier to wipe across bottom frame/sill rather than keep rinsing, as just when u think youve rinsed off sill a bit more mucky water pisses out lol

You could do the vents and carry on with the other windows. When the drips have stopped from the vent, clean just the glass. One thing I do when I see a run of dots is leave it

EDIT: One thing I do when I see a run of dots is leave it till it's stopped dripping and rinse just below the seal.

Dunno why I clicked post without finishing what I was saying

Oh well it did not make much sence before you decided to edit it tuffers as it sounded like to me you just leave run dots on the glass.
