Dirty Velux Windows HELP please

Help Support WCF:

I was going to try and get some ubik 2000 today, what are your thoughts on that stuff?

For me ubik is good, but virosol beats it in every way for cleaning power I've found.

It also foams up a lot more which is good for connys and facia cleans etc.

Struggled to get any Virosol or ubik 2000 today cant find it anywhere locally:( any another suggestion ref chems? I seem to remember reading a thread about something called Ecover glass cleaner i think? I can get this, any good?

That is what I did and I was lucky to have a stockist just down the road from me that sells cloverchem products /emoticons/smile.png

I guarentee you will have a stockist close to you, most industrial estates have a trade cleaning supplier. Usefull places to have near your round just in case you forget something like scrims and you are far from home.... I might know someone whos done that. /emoticons/biggrin.png

Well got the dirty velux windows sorted today, I followed all your advises especially yours @TolishAPurd and good shout ref the locking pin @Duncs  I couldn't get any Virosol or Ubik so I just diluted some good old Mr Muscle window cleaner in my pump sprayer, got inside performed the old velux flipper-rooney, locked using the locking pin and the scrubbed um clean using one of my Gardiner abrasive pads, then trad um spotless. Customer well very pleased, firstly because he had spotless windows and secondly because he now knows how to open is windows lol :giggle: thanks again for all your great advise and remember " customers make pay days possible":rof::rock:

i have a few like in the pic, i thought it was some type of oxidation from the frames! never get them clean.
