Haha bit strong that I just got reprimanded and a comment removed for using a 4 letter word for poo (which was totally justified in its context) and maybe because someone questioned the need for me to use expletives?! I'm sure all you saw was four of these ****! Hardly the crime of the century... I can understand that the use of constant vulgar language is not nice but didn't think I was on a group chat with my daughters... anyway wasn't my intention to offend anyone, I'll do my best in future to keep it PG rated xx

Your talking :turd: :giggle:

The point is Daveyboy that I felt it's a bit petty... infact the point is obvious, it's posted under chit chat and is definitely worthy of that, I'm not condoning using bad language but nobody saw it, all they saw was **** so how is that offensive?!

I hear that and am in total agreement but there has to be a level of moderation surely... I know the sheriffs do a great job and their all gonna have each others backs on this thread as Daveyboy has already shown (and I'm cool with that) not really about ruffling feathers.. but I'm making the point that it wasn't vulgar expletives or offensive language... and the forum automatically sensors them anyway. I'm an intelligent guy with a wide range of vocabulary at my disposal but I'm chatting to a bunch of guys and have been told off like a child for what I deem not to be expletive or offensive....

You can't moderate expletives, what will seem fine to you will offend others.

You say the forum automatically sensors them anyway so really....what's the point in saying them if you know they're not going to show up?

You're an intelligent guy with a wide range of vocabulary at your disposal yet you still need to use expletives?

Yes, expletives are a part of life used at times, especially when writing fleeting comments in between a busy sceduke and I thought they were warranted in that context and I didn't think they would offend or scar anyone... the guy was being given bogus advice and lies in my opinion... and that's all anyone really has here 'their own opinion', my opinion certainly isn't always right.. and occasionally you write things on here when you got time to kill, not really thinking it through! We all learn from each other here, or get tips or experiences that help... I don't really want to be told off for something I deemed so petty! That's really my whole point... my previous comment already accepted the fault so no need for clever quotes of my comments really... it's all love!!
