I get stupid calls all the time, last one was a company wanting me to expand to England? I says how can I clean windows in northern Ireland and England? She said what other services do you offer? I said I'm just about to get out of the van to clean someone's gutters, then she said ok bye.. Hung up..

Have others begging me that this is a once in a life time offer that cannot be missed and it is something my business needs.. Everytime I get one of these calls I just mess them around and talk dung to them lol..

If you want to advertise on a roundabout, councils outsource this (like everything else it seems!) to companies like Marketing Force. Contact them and see if they're managing a roundabout near you. These can be quite expensive but would be very effective for window cleaners and you'll get MASSIVE exposure!

There 500+ a year here for 1 sign. This is maybe something I would be willing to do it the future. Its a fair bit of money but if you get one at the right place I can be seen by thousands

Could you not just hammer a sign in on the side of the road somewhere or look near roundabout for shops and ask can you stick a sign on their wall..

You can get fined for that, well so they tell me. The threatened me with 40 per sign fine lol

Find the best roundabout with the biggest exposure, stick it up Friday night and they won't get round to taking it down and fining you till Monday. Massive exposure and only 1x40 quid fine aka £40 per weekend advertising fees lol.

Ive got 6 up on a double roundabout, Ive been asked to take them down before and refused lol.

For £500 a year I would snap that up big time! Imagine the exposure... You're talking 100,000s maybe into the 1,000,000s!

Obviously not everyone that sees the sign will be local an therefore not relevant to them but the local people that pass through WOW.

Provided its a reasonable size sign then that's amazing value. Yeah it's a lot of money to front but you'd get this back pretty quickly.

thats the thing, it could go the other way. do it at night, go past and muck up a window one night then the next go clean it! lol
