Some of you might have read me post before about being off for a decade due to an operation.

It was not work related, it started off as something minor. So, be safe. Your business, everything, relies on you being safe.

It's not nice to spend years on your back, don't take risks, a small problem is all it takes.

After 10 years I am finally back to normal, you might not be that lucky.

Wise words, always tomorrow but frustration can force any issue!

Blow out today

-4 and constant heavy snow

First job I didn't even start.. assessed it for 5 mins and went home

Even I have my limits lol

I'm on the brink of writing the week of. With the wind chill I'm looking at minus 12 . I work hard all year so a freak week like this, I'll give it a miss. Next week looks to be back to the dizzy heights of 8c. Better dig out my mankini for work ??[emoji23]

It was hovering on 0c in Spennymoor today and and I had a sweat on trudging through 5 inches of snow knocked out a full day.

But looks like no more work till next week purely because of the low temps, but only got a day and a half left this week.

I've got a Nursing home at Crook to do tomorrow and a biggish job at Langley Moor. Just started to fill the van and it's - 3 and a blizzard ?

Don't know about anyone else, but I can never settle when I decide to write the day off. I am constantly looking out of the window and checking the forecast. I really should know better by now.
I'm exactly the same.  It's like i need constant reassurance from the weather that i made the right decision to scrap the day off  :1f603:  Did 5 hours today in minus 2.  Came home because it was blizzard like conditions.  Half an hour later sunshine....thinking 'i should be out there' lol.  I put it down to a good work ethic!

It's been like this for most of the day, so correct decision made

As I finished my last job my jets froze, and then my pole was covered in a thin layer of ice so was a pain to close! Ended up tradding bottoms and that's probably me done, 12-18 inches forecast for next 48 hours, so snowball fight, sledging and building snowmen with the kids next couple days  :2_thumbs_up_-_animated:

Saying that, may get cheeky hour or 2 in tomorrow...

Just said on the bbc weather (not carol kirkwood grrrrrr), that from Monday the temperature will be up to a barmy ten degrees! Let the big thaw begin!

Also said though, rather annoyingly, that there will be persistent snow on Friday in London. That might mean Millwall v Sunderland will be postponed, and I love my Saturdays at football ????

havent they got undersoil heating? I am banking on being at Derby for the game against Fulham on Saturday. Also banking on a nice skinful of ale prior to the match.
