I'm offended...I need a safe space ?What’s a bucket bob?
I get the bucket bit but who’s Bob????Cheap traditional cleaner
I assume it's from an old saying when the currency was pounds, shillings and pence. A couple of bob being 2 shillings, probably wrong but that's what I put it down to.I get the bucket bit but who’s Bob????
I’ll use a saying, don’t know if it’s just used up here, ‘bob a job’. In reference to doing a job, any job, for a bob. ?I assume it's from an old saying when the currency was pounds, shillings and pence. A couple of bob being 2 shillings, probably wrong but that's what I put it down to.
Think that originates from the Boy Scouts? ?I’ll use a saying, don’t know if it’s just used up here, ‘bob a job’. In reference to doing a job, any job, for a bob. ?
I think so! Here's a horrendous sketch which proves just that ?Think that originates from the Boy Scouts? ?

Come on, every village town or city has at least one bucket Bob. You'll see him walking around with 3/4 shorts on even in the winter, ladder on one shoulder and his bucket in the other hand with a rag around his neck whistling random tunes ?I get the bucket bit but who’s Bob????
