Hi, My name is Andy. I mostly work in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. I have been window cleaning for quite a few years and use all tools; squeegees and water fed poles. I joined a few months ago but have been mainly reading rather than writing. quite a few of you have kept me amused and i have learnt a few secrets of the trade from some of you! Despite working for so many years. I still think it is a great job but sshh, dont tell anyone, there are too many window cleaners out there as it is! My biggest fear is that "the common window cleaner" becomes a social pest. Some of my customers are getting two or more knocks on the door a week from window cleaners touting for new customers!

yeh, the canvassing tends to be in the larger house areas. I have read other topics and it seems that other areas have the same as mine, lots of window cleaners! (can i say too many)? Forum dad, where in Dorset are you based, can i call you Dad!!!!!!

Since early 90's, had a bit of a break while trying something else but soon came back! Haven't lived in Bournemouth very long. Moved here mainly for my children to have a better time. So it has been like starting again since March. Growing slowly!
