Get a scratched / damaged glass waiver signed bt customer before starting work & explain any potential problems to them 1st too

Last man on the job will get the blame - windows should have been covered in plastic during construction - if mortar...
In ideal world we should think how long will it take me to trad this house ? Thats the price we quote to customer - then we can wfp it - it was originally hoped that we would make a better living and is safer!

As to Scratching - test on bottom corner of glass 1st - I'm not saying it wont - more likely if a bit of grit in wool so use wet and keep clean

Have used steel wool a-lot mainly on builders cleans - has to be 0000 grade pros & cons - never known it to scratch very effective - always use wet - but will rust quickly - so replace often - a pain if leave in belt pouch and forget - but always keep on van aa part of kit

You can do without back pack as long as you have extn pole with brush water fed by tap at hse & 1st spray tfr by garden pump sprayer or put tfr in bucket & dip in now and again! Finay Rinse off with tap water

I use pond pump about £25 will drip in ibc & 25mm pipe i think - to transfer i think all for pond use

I use a pond pump - fits in without cutting - good flow rate - buy pond pump hose length to suit with tap on end - has worked well for me - not expensive buy ebay

Think of part time job to supplement til you pick up more - I've done gardening / diy etc now dropped - gutter cleaning/ washing fascia etc get you by but make sure you charge properly dont undersell yourself - depends on your circumstances of course

I wouldn't use in a van though - mines in the shed for storage - very thin plastic - not baffled - some put plastic balls in for this - varying opinions see utube
