Just a heads for anyone wanting some quality Gortex waterproof lightweight shoes, i have a pair of these and after trying many others over the years i must say these are fantastic, the reason for the post is i paid £95 for mine, but they are on sale at £59 and if you go for the dark blue they are going for £47.I have just bought another pair.

I've been wearing nice comfy adidas and nike trainers for the summer

Only boots in the wet winter

Addidas treated with neverwet so they stay spotless all day working

Best stuff to spray on gpretex footwear to keep clean and waterproof

I just wear normal trainers all year round. Do get a bit we sometimes I suppose but never really think about it. I'm used to wet socks lol

I've just thrown my terrex fast r's away after 14 months use - just changed to adidas terrex solo shoes for summer and the Five Ten Camp four mid gtx boot for winter, both have stealth soles which are the dogs doodles for rock climbing/approach shoes and I must say I think they are both far superior to anything I have ever had - and grip on both are fantastic.

I feel more comfortable in trainers from back in the trad days roof walking etc.. more feel than boots

Those terrex ones look good though

I wasn't thinking of Pimms and cucumber sandwiches Johnny. I was thinking a bit of the other alfresco. You know, the thrill of getting caught! I guess you'd just leave the light on and the curtains open ?
