I’m currently using the X-line 14” brush with centre rinse bar but looking to upgrade to the Reach-it radial or lite. Anyone used these with Gardiner goose neck valve? Not a fan of univalve have two if anyone wants them?

Hi,

I use both the radial and the ultralite. I don't use valves, you want the water flow to be as unrestricted as possible.

I use them on slx poles though. Just punch the pipe to pause the flow. Valves add a slight restriction.

I also changed from x-line sill brush with rinse bar. Radial knocks them out the park, really good upgrade. You'll get used to pinching the flow off.

Great thanks for the advice I can always tighten the head so it doesn't swivel as I like the gooseneck valve, do you find the ultralite OK on the larger PVC frames and sills etc?

Ultralight has basically no bristles. Just short ones making a skirt around the pad. It destroys lichen on solar panels, bifold doors, velux windows, shop windows etc.

It just doesn't have the bristles for frames. You can do it, but not well. Everyone should have one for conservatory roofs and solar panels and commercial, but not pvc stuff.

They now do a long bristled version of the lite, which I'm going to check it at some point. But the standard brush can clean frames and everything. I use it all the time and will probably only trade it for a long bristled lite.

Thanks very tempted to try I’m also looking at the Edge brush from DA components.
