Just seen a new fb post say woopee no more spinning as I've got an ova 8

Are loads of poles spinning that much ?    my pole is over 8yr old with smart clamps never spins although I've re glued clamps and tighten the screw once a week or so and my sons is 3yr and never had a lose clamp yet and doesn't spin

Ova 8 seems good i just cant see why its needed

Its all marketing by selling a solution to a problem that never existed in the first place.

I find with my Xtreme that it's different each day. Not by much, but enough for me to have to make some adjustments to one or two of the clamps most mornings. However, once set I don't normally have to adjust them again during the day. I put it down to the humidity and temps and such.

In the wfp industry with something's I think it's like trying to reinvent the wheel it's been done already but of course, from a suppliers perspective we need new shiny things to get us to part with our money, that's about it ?
