@William R Not in Ireland myself mate but can I ask if you have Spotify on your phone/tablet? The window cleaning podcast (original proper one) with Stephen Lee and Harry Tuerk is still on there. It's absolutely brilliant and both lads are Irish and operating in Ireland. It's a terrific podcast. Covers all sorts of topics for work, business and equipment etc (and is often very funny). I don't think you can get it on other podcast providers but it should still be on Spotify. Real shame they don't make it any more. There's probably some good facebook groups for Ireland too buddy.

I’m half Irish and brought up in Kilburn which makes me proper Irish so I’ve been told as we all know Kilburn 😂
Sadly no experience working in Ireland though
Although before I moved half my customer base was paddy I reckon

I have spoken to some Irish windies in the past and in some areas it seems pretty normal to be binned off in winter or whenever weather is bad and other areas seems to be like here
I have no idea though

I'm based in the north of Ireland, my round covers the causeway coast. Plenty of salty windows to be cleaned here, lol.

im based in cork by the sea myself chief but only 20mins outside the city aswell so plenty of houses everywhere

Hi William, I started up in 2017 after working as a tree surgeon all my life. The business took off pretty quickly tbf about 3 months in I had picked up a good customer base and you constantly refine it. I live in a small town so word of mouth and a good reputation goes a long way.

I have family in Midleton Co Cork and they struggle to get a window cleaner there.

Wow congrats Jimmy that's good going in 3 months. Is it just window cleaning you do or do you offer any other services? are using wfp or traditional? Do you mind me asking how did you price when you started off? I also have family in midleton who are waiting on me

I used to clear gutters with a vac and clean fsg but these days I stick to the windows as I prefer it and don’t have the time for add ons anymore.
I’m Wfp but do a lot of internals too both residential and commercial.
I use Sureclean systems in the north for my system and equipment.
€25 outside windows for a semi on an estate or €50 inside and out would be a good marker I’d say.
