Hi guys the bristles on my new bush are bent and pointing in the wrong direction. Do you think it will realign itself or is the any way of reshaping them? Hot water or something?

Cheers guys

With any bristles they are a set thermal plastic which has been extruded and cut.

It's virtually impossible to straighten anything that's bent

It's the same as a washing up brush. Fit for the bin unfortunately

I've tried the boiling water a few times-  it seemed to  work on newer brushes that been stored badly, but not succesful on old shagged out brushes though.

Mine aren’t that old and it’s worked a bloody dream

gardiners brush life length is nonsense IMO which I’m thankful for with the price of brushes!  I’ve used extremes tapertec day in day out even on fsg/conny where they get ragged about and they’re absolutely fine 6 months in

At the end of every week I detach my brush from my pole, fill my bucket with hot water, and drop in the brush. I take out the fan jets and the plastic tubing and put them in the water along with the brush itself, so that all the gunk and cobwebs, etc get removed. Seems to prolong the life of the brush.
