Overall on 14" and under and on nice clean edged glass I prefer it. The downside is that it's a real pain on wooden and puttied frames. Also you have to be really accurate. If you get sloppy it 'digs' quite easily. I have been trying this as a 'grumpy' windy called Nick Christian does it like this on his own modded channels. He also did it with the Liquidator and apparently has worn his clips away so it may not be the way to go...

I used to have some sticking out from the side on home mods just to stop the metal scraping the frames but always squared off the tip like we do for the liquidators

No need to with liquidators as they are plastic so i go right against the edge all the way

I absolutely agree. Works really well on my modded Wag channels but is overkill on the Liquidator.
