boab damaging rubbers

Moerman Boab seems to be destroying my rubbers of late. I’m near sure someone on here added something to theirs to stop it doing this if anyone can point me in the direction ??‍

Unger sell a rubber protector that may fit. Otherwise, an old trick is to glue some old squeegee rubber over the part where your squeegee rests.

The moerman boab is floored in many ways. I’ve cut it the central divider, it stops dents in the rubbers and it allows two multi tools to be stored in it with ease.
