How warm should the booster pump be when using - sometimes mine is almost too hot to touch ? Any reasons for this ?…. It’s nearly new

I have 3 booster pumps they all get hot I think it’s quite normal , just make sure there is nothing covering it it should be fine my oldest one is 11 years old and still going strong .

I can't say I have ever noticed mine getting hot, I do have mine plugged into a smart plug which has set schedules so it gets too cold down for a few minutes just in case it might overheat.

I turn mine off every couple of hours for 15 minutes to cool it down. But it does get very hot and hasn't been a problem.

Just get a smart plug then you can set schedules for on and off saves you going outside

I do same. Set timer to give it a regular little rest.
