I have 3 booster pumps they all get hot I think it’s quite normal , just make sure there is nothing covering it it should be fine my oldest one is 11 years old and still going strong .How warm should the booster pump be when using - sometimes mine is almost too hot to touch ? Any reasons for this ?…. It’s nearly new
Just get a smart plug then you can set schedules for on and off saves you going outsideI turn mine off every couple of hours for 15 minutes to cool it down. But it does get very hot and hasn't been a problem.
Yeah good idea I should do thisJust get a smart plug then you can set schedules for on and off saves you going outside
Double check the smart plug you buy does enough schedules as some only have a few times, others you can have lots and even have a setting to do on for a time then off for a time and repeat.Yeah good idea I should do this
I have the Tapo ones which I think you might have recommended, I can have quite a lot of schedules and even set a timer to countdown to switch on or offDouble check the smart plug you buy does enough schedules as some only have a few times, others you can have lots and even have a setting to do on for a time then off for a time and repeat.
I do have Tapo ones and a few others, but each has it's own capabilities, some work with Alexa, others have countdowns, I have 1 that I used to use on my 150GPD RO booster pump that I could set to do 45 mins on 15 mins off between certain times of the day - I think that's what it did - maybe that was an ewelink but they change the spec quite often so worth checking.I have the Tapo ones which I think you might have recommended, I can have quite a lot of schedules and even set a timer to countdown to switch on or off
