I have about 3 properties where my brush triggers the burglar alarm. New one added to the list yesterday.

Once it goes off, I end up spending rest of the time on the job waiting for the neighbours to race round and give me a grilling whilst, feeling that sense of everybody's eye is on me and the centre of suspicion.

Managed to trigger one yesterday. Was so loud the whole town heard it. Nearly deafened me too.

Anyone else have this?

Have a great weekend folks.

I'm sure a few of us, including me, have experienced what you have.

I did once feel sorry for 2 cleaning ladies who rocked up to clean a property they regularly clean. They had the front door key, but the owner switched the alarm on when he went out. They were never given the code. They just decided to go inside and clean the house anyway. The alarm not only had the external siren, but an internal one as well.

Thankfully, we were just finishing off when they arrived. That alarm never stopped, as I expect internal movement sensors triggered it each time they moved about. They were inside that racket for over 2 hours. I never saw them back again.

Fair play to them completing the job with that racket.
I struggled for 15 minutes and was glad to get out of there!
