Cancelling a job

hey guys just want to ask a question I want to cancel this job I got booked next week, as I heard from the grabe vine and a good source that she is a bad custy doesn't pay full amount agreed upon and is always on the cleaners back when doing windows, but I still want to be nice about cancelling the job without getting any bad feed back on my buisness etc any recommendation

I'd do the job. See what shes like first hand. Then if you think she's a tool ask her to bell you if she wants them doing again?

Sounds like the good source might want the customer himself? Or are you 100% convinced that scenario would play out?

Could test both theories and say 'it happens rarely, but I'm afraid I under-quoted you on this occasion and the new quote is xyz (say 15% higher) are you happy to proceed? I hope you understand this is not vanity but preserving the high operating standards I set for my business, regards

Turn up with a clip board, with a nicely typed up agreement outlining the services she requires, the time and so on it will take you and the compensation you will receive from her for this (payment)

Have her read it and sign it.

'Company policy madam, just so we're all on the same page'

Get the job done, collect the money. Any hassle, you have a signed agreement of services so get your equivilant of petty debs court to sort it and put her on your black list for the future.

If all smells of roses be sure to send her a reminder note for next years cleaning.

7 hours actually 3 story house with added side house well everything I heard was a lie she was fantastic even made us lunch, with a $50 tip overall good job today
