Is it safe to use a hypo mix on composite decking ?

I had a nightmare with some composite decking. I used a small amount of ubick and it stained, certain areas of the decking faded.
Just make sure you know what you are doing.

Did you use it neat ?

We use hypo on it but keep it wet , the grey we found difficult to get an even clean I tried everything Virosol , upvc cleaner washing up liquid all were very poor results even hypo mix isn’t great to be honest I hate doing the stuff wood much easier

The one I’ve been asked to clean happens to be grey … think I’ll pass on it then.

I suppose it might depend how bad it is but the last few grey composites I’ve done I just used a 25 degree fan at 100 bar and no chemical, the black came off fine and there was no patchiness

We found different shades of grey when it dried it was clean but not a uniform colour the customer was quite happy with it but I wasn’t .
