The male connector on the side? mine does not spin at all. Have you got it pushed all the way through? Thanks guys.Went to homebase yesterday and there was a hose reel very similar to yours, took it but now I am puzzled as the connector on the side of the reel is static and spins around when I am turning the reel.
Will it not wear out the hozelock fitting?
Should I get a swivel elbow?
Thanks! Figured it out while cleaning today on my windows! still waiting for that swivel elbow from Gardiner it will make things so much easier.pull all the hose out of reel you need before you start.
just use the swivel neck for window cleaning, for connys keep brush rigid, normal gooseneck.more brushing power, easier to manage where you want the brush to go. easy to change overThanks! I think he meant the swivel hozelock. @StorminNorman hozelock connectors do wear out when connected to the reel because the snap fittings inside get worn down by the male connection turning round in it.just use the swivel neck for window cleaning, for connys keep brush rigid, normal gooseneck.more brushing power, easier to manage where you want the brush to go. easy to change over
dont forget your spray bottle for your chemicals, especially on the finialsI think he meant the swivel hozelock. @StorminNorman hozelock connectors do wear out when connected to the reel because the snap fittings inside get worn down by the male connection turning round in it.
Yes thats what I meant, Tuffers. So the swivel hozelock is a must have I think.I think he meant the swivel hozelock. @StorminNorman hozelock connectors do wear out when connected to the reel because the snap fittings inside get worn down by the male connection turning round in it.
