Connecting pole to trolley

Day 3 of the trolley system doing my head right in /emoticons/sad.png could someone PLEASE tell me if i have the correct connector for attaching the clear tube that runs up the inside of my pole to the standard hose that comes from my trolley system as i cant get it to fit. From my trolley i have standard size garden hose with a 6mm microbore female end stop, i thought all i had to do was push tubing from the pole into this end stop and that would hold it in place as it has small barbs inside? I thought this was going to be easy to set up and its turning into a complete pain in the ****!!!! :thumbsdown:

Right, you have normal half inch garden hose coming from pump, yeah. Attach a female Hozelock to that hose (B&Q do them for a quid). Then buy one of these or similar http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Anti-Snag-Water-Fed-Pole-Hose-Adaptor-John-Guest-/251241455268?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item3a7f285ea4. Slide your pole hose over the barb and snap the connection into your hozelock. You then have it all connected.

Cheers for the info, not sure if the tubing from my hose is 8mm or not though, is it normally a standard 8mm size you get with poles?

You could buy this and slide your pole hose over the barb instead of into the fitting. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/window-cleaning-water-fed-pole-end-anti-snag-6mm-2-pack-/270809166597?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item3f0d7bf305 also buy a jubilee clip which are also sold on eBay to keep it a snug fit. Warm your pole hose in a glass of warm water before sliding over the barb.
