Dodgy membrane??

Hopefully someone may know

@spruce @doug atkinson got a 450gpd off a mate late last year with membranes only just changed

Flushed before and after every use

Produce about 1500l of pure a week

Tds started rapidly rising so checked all 3 membranes output tds seperately 

2 are fine and also flow nicely

This one is all scaled up and produces at 65 a drip at a time

Now down to a 300gpd system for the timebeing as intending to go the 4040 route maybe..maybe..not decided

Any ideas or just a bad membrane??

It is actually producing faster with just the 2 lol

Where does that membrane sit within your ro set up. Is it the first membrane, and is your set up filter feeds all 3 membranes or membrane 1 waste to membrane 2 waste etc..

It's a Collins one which is split into all 3 membranes from the prefilter and then all 3 waste goes through y connectors back to 1 pipe not 1 then the next etc

It is the middle membrane

Okay yes 1 out of 1000's membranes you will get one that will not perform. I find about two a year

They do the job but don't seem to last as long as the Axeon membranes from the feedback we have had
