Afternoon lads,

Got a busy day tomorrow so will need a full tank but as it was -7 here last night im wondering what will happen when the tank freezes tonight?

Has anyone had their tank crack from the water expanding when it freezes?

Cheers

Luffy

Dont think minus 5 has the capability to get through van wall then tank wall to freeze 100`s of litres of water.

If your worried I`d stick a oil heater in the van on a low setting.

they are good tanks, friend works out of a trailer and hes was kept in a un heater garage a few years back, frozen solid and lives to tell the tail!

you`ll be sound, better if its vented or just take off the lid, liquid can escape then as it expands (if it does freeze solid ) i`d have thought your pump and other gear would be first hit though

Got the old electric heater out there now
