Last week I covered a large detached house roof with algae killer using Shurflo backpack ( Chem resistant viton seals ) and WFP with very stiff brush ( WCW) took around 30 mins

Will keep you informed on results ...

the video of guy spraying chemicals like that is not good practice. No PPE worn at all by looks of things. also product will atomise in the air as it sprays and go everywhere. Not good practice if am being honest. does a cracking job though lol.

Nah we don't worry about that h&s rubbish! Just crack on...

Does an amazing job, I'm sure the chemicals in the air really aren't going to hurt anything, it's just evaporate and I doubt enough of it would fall in one place to destroy plants etc,

One thing I would do is wear gloves and eye protection though, but otherwise, not much you can do about over spray etc...

Sorry to hear about that Ben, not nice!

So do we need a separate machine to spray the chemicals?

Or if I was to buy a 21lpm pressure Washer machine from you, could I not somehow use it to spray the house with the chemical? Then rinse it off with a sniper nozzle/quad nozzle?

Hi jake,

Yes you can use a power washer though this is not the preferred method, a mix of controlling the high pressure - down streaming and higher flows complicate things some what especially when doing things like water fed pole conversions to brush chems on as they are being applied.

Basically the prices change by engine type - The Honda GP is the cheapest followed by the Loncin followed by the GX120 (there will be a Briggs engine in there which should be about the same as the Honda GP but with a longer commercial warranty.

Sorry to confuse you all but the die hard Honda warriors love their 'Badge' its just a case of trying to offer the engines to suit everyones tastes it does mean we have to stock lots of engines though

Ok, I think I will buy one around March next year,

So I'll be needing the softwash machine, and then do you supply a pickup hose for the Chems?

Then I take it I can then use a pressure washer with a 'sniper' nozzle to rinse off? Or do you use the softwash machine to rinse as well after applying the Chems?

Can you pressure wash drive ways and patios in the rain? Worried about leaving pressure washer out in the rain while working is this ok?
