I don’t think there is anything safer and more stable in regards to earning regular money than window cleaning.
Granted add ons can probably earn you more per day but you have to keep advertising or bringing the work in to keep busy.
I only do windows and I have about 3 sites where gutter cleaning is in on the contract.I hate it!
window cleaning can be much easier and more profitable for me.
Like most things though it comes down to the individual,There’s no point if after a year you hate cleaning windows move in to something else that you like more the money will follow later.
The willywaving has always and will always go on.A lot of window cleaners I’ve meet are quite insecure and feel the need to tell the world what they are earning and how much work they have.
Some people will get 2 or 3 vans out and let the success go to their heads and look down on one man bands.
Success again is defined by the individual you could have come out of a minimum wage dead end job to working for yourself earning 40k+ .Celebrate the wins.
