I sold my old ionic pro 6 which was a good system the only draw back with it was the fill time, 5-6 hours from empty to 600lts, no problem in spring summer and most of the autumn as I did this over night. In the winter as my advancing years waiting up till all hours was a bit much.

My new system by ionic's fills in 2 hours from empty produces less waste and a production TDS of 006, Very impressive I seem to be using less water with the new digital controllers over the old turn dial one. The water is more measured with no lag that I occasionally got from the old system. What I do like is its fully automatic simply turn the water on power up and leave, It  dose the back wash for you and then one more after the cycle has finished.

If your looking for something new look at ionic's range not the silly priced ones (Zero) the H2o range.

I nearly brought a v4 from them but my old mucker who also had a pro 6, brought a Titan and persuaded me to have a look at one.

To be fair all you needed to do was fit a booster pump and solenoid and it would auto fill , and switch off I have ionics systems in my vans and produce a 1000 ltr of pure in 1:5 hours . Ionics systems auto flush is a pain evan if you want to only put 100 ltr in the tank it will go through the full pre fill flush for I believe about 20 muinits , this process is very waist full and not needed , flushing it manually takes a very short time and changing two hoses over takes seconds , I deliberately bought older systems so it didn’t have the auto flush , we live in a soft water area as well so I don’t dump much water probebly only 20% max , when working in hard water areas I can dump a higher % age as required

My old system had auto shut off, but in the winter with a heavy frost I did so much damage even with a heater on. I had a pro 6 and I did fit a booster pump complete waste of time ended up trebling the waste and produced water with a higher  TDS.

With the new machine the waste is much less than the pro 6 with a robak filter fitted.

The pro 6 with the ro back filtration never really took off , the pro 5 was the best option , you should get a much better consistent water quality and less waist with  a booster pump , I do on my vans ,
