Forgot /ignored speeding fine

    Just realised it went to court yesterday but I missed the deadline to reply - anyone know what happens next ?

    Depends if it came recorded delivery
    If you signed for it you can't claim ignorance and not receiving it in the post

    I first agreed to go on a speed awareness course
    Then got a £100 demand so I sacked it
    Then got court summons
    But forgot !!

    Nearly happened to me think its £250 fine and 6 points, don't quote me on it, managed to get on speed awareness course for day before deadline so luckily never happened to me

    This happened to my friend. You will more than likely get a ms90 conviction 6 points and a good old fine. Think my mates fine was £700 ish. MS90 are not good and insurance companies penalise you heavily

    Ring them up and see if you can resolve it. Better that you contact them rather than a knock on the door.....

    I've ignored several, sometimes you get away with it, another time popo turned up with a warrant for my arrest.
