another one broke the little stub that goes in the clamp to stop it spinning just sheared off & this time it was my sons pole not mine, so it cant be just me. that's 3 in a month gone

Happened to both my poles so I got a piece of bar same thickness,(or a bolt the same thickness that isn't threaded to the end) put in vice, drilled them out and tapped hole and then cut to right length, made a great job of the clamps, they've never gave me a problem since.
