Looking to start WFP window cleaning. Don't know others prices. Just one mate has a WFP cleaner clean his terraced house windows. 3 front, 3 rear and double glass patio doors for £7. Doesn't know if his frames are cleaned or just glass only as always at work. Know it depends on your area etc. Some will say to cheap. What yous reckon for this price

If you look at his windows and the frames are clean, then you have your answer. If they aren't clean, then he doesn't clean the frames.

If the frames aren't too bad, then he cleans them every now and again.

We bought a tad round many years ago. They were glass cleaners only. But they wiped the sills with their squeegees. The window frames were minging.

Wipe you finger across the frosted bathroom window. Some trad cleaners miss those out and only clean them if they see a bird strike. We don't recommend ever doing that.

Personally, i think these prices are low and we are in the depressed north east. I try to get £10 to £11 for a 3 bed semi without conservatory every 6 weeks. Yes, there are still areas where the going price is £5, but then these guys try to clean every 2 weeks trad.
We went wfp 20 years ago now.

Yea maybe price is low and if this is local rate it's trying to sell my service and justify higher prices with professional service. I would aim for every 4 weeks. When starting it's hard to put a good rate on it till confidence builds up I'm thinking

Try looking up your competitors websites. Some of them might list prices which will help. Depending on where you are in the country your prices do sound low, maybe very low.
Consider 6 weekly cleaning as I believe higher prices are a slightly easier sell ie. 4 weekly = 12 cleans a year, 6 weekly = 8 cleans a year. You will need more customers but each individual is a smaller % of your income - you will lose some over time.

I'm in Northern Ireland. Had a look and haven't seen many proces listed on websites near me. Will keep plugging away and look at 4 or 6 week and what works best for the customer 👍🏻

There are some areas within 5 miles of our home we won't even entertain cleaning in as we know what people's perceived prices are in those areas from past experience.
We targeted middle class estates in the early days.
We stayed away from new build estates as they were canvassed by every local cleaner.
We also got a bit of work in what were old council estates. Our prices weren't as good but most were at home and paid on the day and some neighbours paid for those not in. We hardly ever had to go back and collect from someone who wasn't in.

Years ago there was a cleaner on the other forum named Johnny B. He sold his round in the UK and moved to Ireland. I'm not sure exactly where. He found it took a long time to build a solid round as window cleaning was never a priority amount home owners.
He started by offering one of cleans on customer request which he then developed into regular cleaning.
