Hi all,
I normally clean my gutters using a karcher vac. So far, I have managed to do them myself using several 450mm extension poles attached together. Surprisingly, it has good suction power and manages to get rid of the dirt on the upstairs gutters. The issue I have is because I have so many small poles attached together, they do start to bend. Therefore, I am looking at buying some proper gutter cleaning poles. I am leaning towards 51mm carbon fibre push fit poles mainly due to their light weight.
At the moment, I will still use these poles with my karcher. I may buy a proper gutter vacuum later on. But at the moment, I do not really have the storage space to store one anywhere.
What I would really appreciate is some tips on what to buy? Ideally, if this is permissible, a recommendation of a shop or brand to look out for.
I will probably use them about two or three times per year on my house. Once at the start of spring, once at the start of autumn, and perhaps once half way during the summer depending on how bad they got. Would the maintenance of these poles just be washing them after use and spraying them with silicone spray?
Thanks,
Questy
