Gutter vac motor replacement

Morning, we've got a predator GVS and one of the motors has gone on it.

Have brought a new motor from GVS but have no idea how to access the motors to replace it I've looked online but not found anything to help.

Anyone got any ideas or preferably a video that could help.

You're probably better of sending back to GVS to fit one.Or take it to a local commercial equipment supply/service cleaning shop to fit it. They are awkward to fit...

Dam how old is the hover I was looking at upgrading to gvs hover but my stream vac still going strong after 9 or 10 years think I’ll just keep going with it till it dies

I had an omnivac must be 20 years old now if not older I sold it to a guy who is on here and local to me and it's still going strong with the original 3 motors and it’s been flooded many times ,

It's about 2 years old, the motor went when we were on a job where the gutters were full to the brim with pine needles.

Our last vac from GVS was about 8 years old and we gave it to my father in law and it's still going now, might have to borrow it until we've got the motor sorted.

Looks like we'll be contacting GVS to arrange for it to be replaced.

If you have the motor I am sure any vacuum repair shop could fit it.

They may talk you through replacing it if you are ok with it. If not then probably best to send it to them. Have you looked on any of the gutter cleaning groups on facebook? They are pretty good and gvs are very active on the groups too. Good luck with it .
