Hi everyone. What is a good rate to charge for commercial render cleaning and would this be based on square meter or linear meter?

WCF

@Paul Hickmott have a look on YouTube at Sid Partridge's channel 'Partridge Exterior Cleaning'. Sid does loads of external cleaning work and I'm sure he'll give you some good ideas. As for pricing have a look on the Facebook groups as there'll be plenty of information. Probably depends alot on how dirty it is, how easy it is to access, how long it will take you, cleaning chemicals needed etc. Lots of factors as @Dave B says.

COMMERCIAL RENDER CLEANING: Hi everyone. What is a good rate to charge for commercial render cleaning and would this be based on square meter or linear meter?
Does Ashley Mac not have any ideas?
If not then I would try and use your hourly rate that you use for commercial gutter cleaning and judge how dirty the render is, how much chemical you might need, and guess at how much you can do in an hour then calculate that out.

Like any job it’s a combination of your hourly / daily rate, materials used, a bit of how much do you want/need it and how far you can push your luck on pricing which could be anything from local supply/demand to how disinterested your client is in shopping around.

Take a punt based on the first bit and the rest is down to experience. If you don’t get it politely ask them why. They may not tell you but nothing lost in asking.

I find recommendation is a major factor. My clients are mostly affluent and all my work is on recommendation. Because of that they aren’t very price-sensitive.

Very difficult for anyone else to answer your question accurately for you. Mostly it’s just a learning curve. Only other thing I would say is don’t under-value yourself. Be confident and brave enough to walk away. If you’re good the work comes and clients will both wait for you and pay your price.

No. In this area, it seems everyone works on what they want to earn. So it is a case of judging how long the work will take. How specialist / demanding the work is and then adding or not adding a premium for specialist work or not. I am doing a lot of complete render cleans now and they are all coming in in excess of £500 per day so all good.

Why would you ask Ashleigh?
He only endorses people who have sent him free stuff and trying to sell sheite poles with his name on
Better to ask someone who does it daily with their own equipment and knows what they’re doing

COMMERCIAL RENDER CLEANING: Hi everyone. What is a good rate to charge for commercial render cleaning and would this be based on square meter or linear meter?
People like me and @Pjj who do this stuff regularly charge by looking at the job and having a price in our head
Wouldn’t know how to price per metre etc nowadays as I know a price looking at it and rarely am caught short as I can see all the variables in my head

Because he is a friend of @Paul Hickmott I believe. I believe Paul and he work on roof jobs etc.
You are right though best ask people who do the job day in and out.
