You wimp  ???? you are supost to be a lifeguard what are you like !!!! Joking aside it could be tennis elbow , just take it easy get it checked out , if it is tennis elbow they might give you an injection of quartisone and anersettic dont  know the right spelling sorry but that works well .

Aye, my tennis elbow always returns around Wimbledon time, goodness knows why. ???

tennis elbow or golfers elbow(google it)...itll get better in time..take 2 paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen at the same time and get yourself a neoprene compression arm sleeve(only wear it when working).itll help a lot

De La, NHS website is great to self diagnose, 'simple' low risk stuff for aches/strains and list a symptoms and bunch of exercises/self treatments etc

Also it's key to identify what in your technique is causing this...know you've just started so may just be that but check out the threads on correct WFP kit/techniques and be conscious 'how' you are cleaning.

I went to my doctor with my tennis elbow and he said i can give you an injection but I'm not good at it. ? So we agreed on me doing exercises and grind it out with painkillers. Through time it went away till last month when I slide on black ice and landed on my elbow. It was a sore one and I lay there dazed looking up at the sky wondering what had happened. It's slowly getting better by moving it.

Yeah i know what a pussy haha - actually had cortisone injection into my hip joint several times before so know about that one being not a fun procedure ! It has gotten better through exercise and and some limited rest by doing lots of 3 bed semi's and no heavy jobs. Problem is semi's are running out and the heavy jobs are where the money is at for me so gotta get on with them.

When i look back i recall just doing some silly flat long reach cleans in the last year where my arm felt like it was gonna explode, just went really hard and with my slightly heavier long pole (SLX not extreme) its definitely taken its toll.
