I got a job today to restore some frames, I soft washed them and they came up much better than they were.

I noticed you have to physically wipe frames to remove the built up stuff.

I've had alot of people mention cif cream could I apply some to my brush and work it in on frames as you most probably know doing it by hand takes ages.

I'm getting alot of customers asking for it.

Help is always much appreciated, I'd be lost without this fourm.

Just with a microfibre cloth mate. If there's black seals try not to touch them as they will bleed. Car shop is probably the cheapest for cellulose thinners

A proper restoration is done by hand Johnny. You have to charge well for this service though, or no point doing it as it's allot of hands on work!

Cream cleaner or car polish, anything with some abrasion.

Ive found cream cleaner to work reasonably well on the brush head. Get a nice dry brush and slap some on, give it a good scrub!
