As the title says. old georgian style, with big gaps that I'll look out for more in future. Happened when I was trying to do the outer frame bits, fair old bit of dripping gone inside of the window. Had the odd drip ive noticed on certain properties before, but this was more like a flow ?.

We get this on a regular basis, on the really bad ones all you can do is turn the flow right down. They take longer to do so that will need to be allowed for in the price. Either that or just keep flooding them out till they complain, we usually let them know the options and believe it or not most aren't bothered about the water getting in.

yes prob right, havent had any complaints yet, this house is for sale and no one in there just yet so hopefully will dry out fairly quick.

Yeah I've got one that absolutely pours in. Been doing it for nearly two years now and she hasn't said anything so far so I'll not mention anything until she does lol. It's not like it's acid.

Working on lots of old, rural farmhouses, this happens a lot on my round. Most of it is because the putty needs replacing but people are reluctant to spend out on having their frames repaired.
