I think Alex is right - I don't see big benefits on smaller poles. My first impression is that the accessory, being fixed, is going to make the pole rather bulky and would upset the balance in everyday applications at low level.
I see an application using our 40 SLX where I swap the cleaning of a length of high windows with my son at the half way point due to fatigue. But that is only on one job a year.
I would also see additional storage issues in the van, but that would effect each of us differently, depending on storage 'racking', especially those using tube holders in the roof of their vans.
