John Guest Fittings

[SPCleaning]

I want to go from the pump to the DI's to the reel using John Guest fittings. I have tried to work out what I need but it gets complicated.

The 1/2" hose that is currently in place gets twisted when the reel turns and the brass connector keeps undoing. Maybe I should buy a Swivel Elbow and continue with the 1/2" hose? Would this work?

Decisions, decisions. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yes you need a swivel elbow adaptor, sold on the wcw website.

John guest fittings are good for all connections up to the reel - because at present there is no John guest fitting that will fit the hose reel.

I'm in the process of setting up a john guest system atm, still waiting for some parts to arrive, the swivel elbow above has arrived, but i have to say it's quite stiff, doesn't spin around as easily as my hoselock one. Will have to find out if it works.

I was thinking, if it won't swivel smoothly, i can always just cable tie it around the hose reel
