Today i was on a regular wfp , 4 Weekly , great job with big new hydrofillic panes .

then a roofing algae-guy had been there a few days ealier splashing around all his goo everywhere ! :1f624:  now ! These lovely hydrofillic panes has turned totally hydrofobic !!

Hated it , and next time i will put vinegar in my wfp water to see if i can turn this situation around again ..  :1f644:

Not quite the same as above, but I had a customer some years ago whose neighbors had a company come and seal their brickwork. They were supposed to have masked all the neighbors windows up but didn't do a satisfactory job. I don't know what the stuff was they sprayed on but they did it on a windy day and it got all over the neighbours (my customers) windows. It was so thin that a scraper wouldn't remove it. They were never the same after that.  Horrible stuff it was.

Man !! I would have called my insurance if that was my own House ( or his)  acctually this custy told me ,they cleaned the walls too .. Just hate that it changed these fine panes to fobic ones ..

I've had something similar with a customer having their rendering re rendered.

I cleaned the windows as normal noticed they were sticky spent ageeees cleaning them, I got a complaint went back and yes there was a problem. The windows dry like someone has breathed on them on a cold day but it stays like that...

Anyway she got mouthy and acted like it was my fault even though the neighbours windows were fine.

I remember her telling me if you can't clean a window properly il be getting someone else [emoji23]

My reply made sure she had to get someone else as it was clear I wasn't going back.
