Ladders without stabilisers?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Just to mention, If anyone modifies a ladder from the manufacturers spec and an employee has an accident you won't have a leg to stand on or pot to p1$$ in - even if your limited.
If sole traders want to modify a ladder that's up to them.
thats so right! you cannot modify Anything without it possibly invalidating your insurances. Few yrs ago i was chattin to my insurance bod and he happened to mention that quite a few claims were in from emplyees of wfp firms, worn shoulders things like that. If any of the firms had a dickey bodged pole long as it was in van even if not used the biz [not employee] were up sheetcreek .That reminds me a fellow i met from Bristol with a reasonable sized cleaning biz dropped windows altogether after an employees lower back went firm was mostly cleaning carpets inside hotels but this employee did hi windows .From memory it was 6yrs in that the prob started he should have immediately been withdrawn from that work course he wasnt its so serious to let that happen. i once had a lady employee and i noticed she had gone from normal to very thin then found half eaten food below her seat in the van, luckily she started messing me about not turning up and she had to go but if she had collapsed at work-and id known she had problems-id have beenm in real bother
