Leisure battery problem

I have only had my battery for around 4 months, I have

always charged it up after a work day. This morning on my first job it dropped straight to ten volts after charging it all last night. Could it be a bad connection somewhere?

If it's dropped to 10.5v fully charged then one cell isn't working. Does it need topping up? Do you use a good charger that switches to trickle mode after charging? After only four months It wouldn't need topping up unless it was being overcharged and gassing too much. Could also be a short in the cell.

i use a numax charger, you need something similar, halfords do something as well around £25 - £30

this is the one i use for the lasy 3 years

my leisure battery has 4 terminals, 2 for the rocodile lips, the 2 smaller ones have my battery charger lead bolted on to simply charge it up, by connecting my charger straight to it , then plug harger in and leave to fully charge

This one around £50+, good one, once you got one thats it for a lot of years
