The collapsed length of a SLX 27 is actually shorted than an SLX 25! It is a bit heavier though.I use a slx27 but if I got Xtreme I would go bigger than 25.

Yes the SLX27 is 1.56m collapsed, the SLX 25 is 1.72m collapsed!!! But the SLX 27 is 1670gms vs SLX 25 is 1420gms. So an extra 250gms for 2 ft extra reach but the shorter length (16cm about 6") of the SLX 27 is handy in confined spaces. i use an xtreme 25 as my main pole and an xtreme 47 for anything higher..ive used this pole combo for years.....I use a slx27 but if I got Xtreme I would go bigger than 25.
