I have never had to walk away from a gutter job before. Part of me is thinking I should have said no straight away.

3 story hotel. On a narrow pavement next to busy crossroads.

I've got a GVS 3600, nothing wrong with the Gutter vac though. Would you have tried the job or just walked away?

In the end the customer was happy with the camera inspection and covering the time I spent there trying. But I think it's going to end up being a scaff jobby.

Had to compress the video, so hopefully it shows up well! If not the screenshot shows it too

Looks a nasty one - just screen shot. A boom lift would probably be cheaper or even a cherry picker than scaffolding. Although traffic management might be tricky.

Did you give it a really good soaking with water to loosen it all up. When I get really bad ones that what I do, red hot water makes a massive difference especially at this time of year as it might be frozen ....

If you keep chipping away at it when it’s wet ime sure you could get that out I think it comes down to experience and confidence not boasting but we have done many jobs ware other firms have said it’s impossible to do from the ground . The only exception to this would be cables in the gutter and it’s grown all around them but sometimes you can ever remove that as well .
