This is why Im going to wait to order mine.I want to be sure all the little niggles are ironed out so that when it comes to using it, any fault left is going to be due to my technique, which can be worked on. I use Unger squeegee handles and channels and was going to use those handles when I get my liquidator but what would you guys recommend would it be better getting the handle as well.I don't mind if I have to change my action.

Moerman have started making them with the new clips today and everywhere is pretty much sold out of the latest lot so you know when you get yours they will be the newer clips from a couple of days time

Like any new stuff I prefer to wait until the hype settles down and any product issues are highlighted then ironed out first as I envisaged there would be with this new channel and apparently I was right.

Well i saw a windie day before yesterday who I speak to occasionally

He said what the bleedin hell is that you're using

I showed him and let him have a go and then he ordered 2 on his smartphone straight away

That must surely show it works

i still say 99% of problems is down to how you use it

Then again i use mine like a normal squeegee now i am used to it

A- disgruntled competitors trying hard to get Even stevens using false profiles

B- disgruntled ne"er do wells who cant be happy no matter what

i know im right on this one. iv been using these channels now nigh on a fortnite + plus my 3 workers are . we are working flat out and the moerman is the go to channel .

Right, this is a difficult one really, as both Dave and Daveyboy are right, and well intentioned.

From the pics I am pretty sure I can see what the problem is. The clips are not tight enough AND the angle being used is wrong. I wouldnt say that with such certainty if I hadnt already had the same problem myself, and rectified it. But I understand where Dave is coming from, you shouldnt have to fix/mod the clips. All people with the old clips should have the new clips sent out as a replacement, or even a voucher. They cost pennies to make, and I'm sure not that many have been sold so it would have been a small hit for Moerman to take, while creating a lot of good will. Its just the right thing to do.

I don't care if someones been a windy for 10years or 10 weeks, the technique is totally different to how most people use any other squeegee. Take some time to really practice with it away from your work. Slow down your technique as if you are starting again. It really is amazing when you get it right- No detailing needed whatsoever on the top sides. For me though it comes at a cost....speed. I find it doesnt like big movements. And it doesnt like the blade being vertical as is evident in the ticks it leaves.

I've given mine a good run now, and I like it a lot. Its going to be interesting to see what comes out in the next few years as improvements and copies are made. But for me, I've decided I'm ditching my modded squeegees altogether and going back to normal straight blades. I just find them quicker as they can handle bigger movements, just my opinion. I'm keeping my moerman though as it is good in the tool box for certain applications, in the same way my wagtail is, but its not going to replace my main squeegee.

I've tried to be fair here. Its a good squeegee and well designed, but unfortunately moerman fcked up here, not the designer or testers. They should have listened to Polz, and they should rectify the problem (its nice to acknowlege it- but they need to sort it). And I reckon it was brought out just a touch too early as more can be done with this.

Wish I had save my money, my diy squeegees is 100 time better than this one.
I tried hard and soft rubber and the outcone is.... well...shocking bad.

I had to press hard on to the windows to stop the gap, yes it get the soap off the edge of the windows but it leave soap behind in the middle of the windows.

I've been using mine today for the first time, and have had similar problems. It worked well enough when I first got it, but it wasn't proper working conditions. I tried a Pulex handle, then an old SYR and got the same sort of thing you did. I was using an Unger hard rubber. So I change to an Unger soft, and it was better, but it was missing the glass like yours, I figured that the angle that the channel is to the glass is too steep. I also like to 'fix' my rubbers into the channels at the ends, either with end-clips or nylon ties, and I've had a bit of trouble with that as well. I didn't bother with it anymore today. But I have now put it into a Wagtail, and I had to alter the handle to get it the same as my home-made Wag. It does seem to be better, but I won't know for sure until tomorrow. As things are at the moment, my Wagtail is tons better

I agree with most of what you've said, but there are some things that I would like to point out. I've been working with Wagtail for a number of years, it is angle cut and used with a wash pad on it. I also have an ordinary squeegee, slightly larger, for the bigger windows, this is angle cut at only 10 degrees, as I also have no problem with corners. They both work extremely well, and with this experience, I'm surprised that the Moerman creates this situation.
