Tank size for a caddy

What size tank would you put in a Vw caddy, for one person to use, would you choose flat or upright? I'm a beginner on a van system.

Depends on payload if van 400ltrs of water weighs 400kg with a flat wydale tank weight of 36kg plus reel etc total loaded weigh would be including yourself and fuel you easily hit 600kg

of the standard wydale style tanks a 350 upright is the best fit.

500l will fit, but id guess you'd be pushing the weight limit with everything else on board.

400l flat will fit, but sloshes like crazy, and an upright won't fit against the bulkhead.
