Nlite hose connection

Hello fellow window cleaners. I've just received my big boy backpack and I'm having trouble connecting the nlite hose to the brush I'm wondering if I need an adaptor.

Photos would help depending if it is a John Guest push fitting is the hose diameter to large ??

Cheers, i had to get a y piece connector,
the hose was too large.
